For three days every August, the Wave of Sobriety Group opens the doors of Trio Restaurant — right on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica — to anyone in AA who wants to come share a long, easy weekend with us.
There are speaker meetings and step meetings, yes. And also yoga at sunrise, surf lessons in the afternoon, an ice cream social on Friday night, and plenty of time to just sit by the ocean and breathe.
Whether this is your first roundup or your tenth — whether you're flying in from across the country or walking down the beach — you'll find a seat at our table.

The Venue
Trio is our home for the weekend — an open-air restaurant and event space a short walk from the surf. Meals on one side, the concert hall for our big speaker meetings on the other, and the bar area kept open as our hospitality suite all weekend long.
